Animals fur types
The wiki now contains these new fur types :
- Olive
- Pristine
- Fantasma
- Ogro
- Winter
Also, Furs types for all the new animals has begun (Ibexes,
mouflon, european hare and iberian wolf) (It isn't complete
yet)

I've not gotten any of the walking distance achievements, even after specifically trying. I've had the game for months
Mallard ducks
It was announced that mallard ducks will be added in Layton Lake in the next update.
Vurhonga Savanna Reserve Map
The wiki now contains a complete map of Vurhonga Savanna Reserve with all regions, structures and landmarks.
Vurhonga Savanna Reserve and Head Start Bundle
Today, the new Vurhonga Savanna Reserve was released. It can be purchased for 7.99 €/$. For owners of all the other DLCs, it can be purchased as part of the Head Start Bundle for 5.99 €/$.
Canadian Goose and "Wild Goose Chase Gear" DLC release
Today, the canadian goose was released, sided by the respective paid DLC "Wild Goose Chase Gear". This DLC contains the newLayout Blinds, Decoys and the Strecker SXS 20G Shotgun. It can be purchased for 3.99 €/$. Also, a limited bundle containing the "Tents and Groundblinds", the "Medved Taiga National Park", the "Saber 4x4", the "Weapon Pack 1" and the "Wild Goose Chase Gear" DLC for 18.18 €/$. If one already has all DLCs except the "Wild Goose Chase Gear", the bundle saves 1 €/$.
New Shotgun, Layout Blind and Decoys
It was announced that the free canadian goose update will be accompanied by a paid DLC to specialize on their hunt. The DLC will contain 3 different decoys for the geese, a new 20 GA shotgun and a layout blind specifically designed for bird hunt. It will cost 3.99 $/€.
Geese
It was announced that soon geese will be added to theHirschfelden Hunting Reserve as free update of the New Animals 2018 DLC.
Jackrabbit release and Weapon Pack DLC
Today with patch 1.19 the white-tailed Jackrabbit was officially added to Layton Lake. Also, a weapon pack DLC containing a semi-automatic rifle for small game hunt (Virant .22 LR), a recurve bow (Houyi Recurve Bow) and a crossbow (Crosspoint CB-165) was released. It can be purchased for 3.99$/€ under following link.
Rabbits
It was announced that Jackrabbits will be added soon to the Layton Lake District as free update for all platforms. They will be fully huntable and harvestable.
Callers
The wiki now contains pages for all available callers in the game. Also the callers page was restructured and divided into 4 subparts to make it more accessible.
Ammunition
The wiki now contains pages for all available ammunition in the game. Also, we have now over 100 content pages!
Weapons
The wiki now contains all available weapons in the game. The follow up will be the additon of all available ammunitions and their respective descriptions.
Animals and Locations
The wiki now contains also all four new animals, introduced with the Medved Taiga National Park reserve. Also all available reserves have now appropiate pages, containing their in-game description, their location and their animals.
Release of the Mednev Taiga Reserve & limited DLC offer
Today, the Medved Taiga Reserve was released. It can be purchased for 7.99$/€ and features 4 new animals (Musk Deer, Reindeer, Lynx, Brown Bear) and 2 well known ones (Moose, Wild Boar).
Description: In this icy, unforgiving environment you’ll be able to hunt new animals such as the Lynx and Brown Bear whilst carrying out tasks for our new guide, Alena.
Also a limited time bundle, called the Head Start Bundle , was offered. It contains the new reserve and the two paid DLC ATV SABER 4x4 and Tents & Ground Blinds. It costs 12.20 $/€ , offering a 25% discount (normally: 16.27 $/€).
Rifle News
From this moment on, the wiki contains all available rifles. Besides the fact, that the individual articles may need a few more details, this adds a hugh chunk of information to the wiki.
