Cheelah is a subregion of the Southern Ridge, which can be found in southeastern Layton Lake District.

"The Cheelah region is popular for hiking excursions. Cheelah Hiking Village, the biggest cabin village in the reserve, can be found here. Hikers usually enter the reserve via Layton River by boat. The reserve's only helicopter pad lies on the other side of the river.
