- "The Gray Fox is found in forests, brushlands, and swamp areas of North and Central America. They grow to between 0.72 m to 1.12 m from nose to tail, and weigh between 3.50 kg to 6.80 kg. Often mistaken for Red Foxes due to the red fur around the head, neck, and belly. They can be easily distinguished by their peppered grey coats and a tail that bears a black stripe and tip. Gray Foxes are crepuscular omnivores, feeding on rabbits, rodents, small birds, and fruit. They are typically solitary animals, but will mate for several months of the year until their kits are old, enough to fend for themselves."
