The Grizzly Bear is a class 4 predator. It can be hunted in Yukon Valley.
Description
The North American Brown Bear, most commonly known as the Grizzly Bear, is a massive brown bear that can be found in mainland regions in Alaska, Canada and the northwestern United States. 30,000 grizzlies live in Alaska. The Alaskan grizzly bear is the largest of the grizzlies, owing to a rich diet and plentiful hunting and feeding opportunities. They can be an entire third larger than other brown bears, weighing up to 680 kg, making the grizzly bear a particularly intimidating quarry, regardless of the distance between you and your prey. Grizzly bears have keen senses overall and are curious animals, always on the lookout for their next meal, which they can hunt, kill and even steal on their own. Grizzlies can be found near bodies of flowing water, where they find their most abundant food sources. Despite their huge size Grizzlies are largely vegetarian feeding on grasses, berries and roots. However a big part of ther diet is also made up of insects, fish and for some bears in the spring the calves of moose and caribou. They are also scavengers and sometimes follow wolf packs and take over their kills. Hunting a grizzly is the challenge of a lifetime and without the right equipment, skill and patience might even be your last.
