Mirador de Doña Emilia is one of 3 subregions of Llanuras de la Cosecha in Cuatro Colinas Game Reserve, located in Spain.
Description[]
"By the middle of the 18th century, my family's stewardship of this land was well established. Europe's lords and ladies would visit, with the ladies often beeing neglected while the lords would spend the whole day hunting. One Doña Emilia made a habit of ascending the tower here so she could observe the hunts trough a telescope."

Reconquista
This region of Spain was hotly contested during the Reconquista. Christian Visigoths of the Iberian peninsula set out to reclaim Spain from the Muslim kingdoms that had been established some years previously. Both sides built their own fortifications, and the ruins of these watchtowers and forts still remain.
