There are 6 bird species and 9 mammal species in the reserve, 15 total. There is one species considered semi-unique for this map: the Bobcat. However, in-game it is identical to the Mexican Bobcat on all aspects. In real life, the Mexican Bobcat is considered a subspecies of the Bobcat, with minor physical differences.

On this map great ones of 5 species can be met, they are whitetail deer, black bear, moose, ring-necked pheasant and red fox, the most out of any map.

This reserve comes with the Curman .50 Inline muzzleloader rifle. It is not connected to the plot, unlike most of such weapons.

- In trailer comments and various discussions, players have often commented that the map is very reminiscent of Hirschfelden and Layton Lake, which are free starter maps.
- The map is notable for the abundance of class 1 and 2 game. Among 15 species only one is medium and two are large.
