The Sun Sisters, or Burnt Rock Mountains as they were christened by European colonists, are the tallest mountain range in Silver Ridge Peaks. Their red peaks dominate the surrounding landscape, offering a challenging and innovative hike above the treeline where Rocky Mountain Goats make their homes.
